Regarding the new information about Xanxus' flame:
I would personally like to say that I called it.
The very first thing I did after the concept of different types of flames was introduced was re-watch the sky battle to check if Xanxus had red.
This makes me extremely proud of myself.
:D
No wonder the sky ring rejected him.
Also, I seem to have forgotten how to make cuts.

So.
I have discovered a disturbing tendency toward sabotaging myself in my writings.
Namely, I write most fantasy, yet have spent the last two weeks trying to decide exactly how the anatomy of my elemental-mafia/Brynhild AU fishbird!Tsuna would work. Specifically what kind of bird and what kind fish I am working with, here. Also I drew an extremely rough sketch and am tring to come up with some kind of explanation for drapery that involves keratin and cormorants. (Incidently the bird is some kind of gruiform and the fish is one of the gourami.)
I have an idea of the plot, even. Yet I keep stopping myself with trying to decide the significance of mythological vs. actual creature and even then whether to have them elementally based, and still more what I'm going to do with Mukuro/Chrome and Ryohei as they were orginally slated for humanity.
My epic Naruto fic, on the other hand, with all the clones, is certainly not coming along as it should, and most definately I am flummoxed by the recent Itachi narration. Although, ha ha, Sasuke looks like he's gonna have a break down.
Getting back to me cockblocking myself, I like to write in a very disjointed manner. My ideal piece of work contains a bunch of snapshots and some vaguely narrated interludes.
( Ex. - )
Does this seem very coherent to anyone? Does anybody think that I need to stop overthinking/start trying to narrate? This is me setting out snapshots. When I actually try to tell a story I get very methodical. This happens, and so this happens, and of course there must be some sort of government organization to deal with the fallout of etc., because otherwise that's just a gaping plothole in the original canon, yet it's never been mentioned despite relevancy.
I- I kind of fail. That up there is pretty much string of consciousness/vague idea of what I'm going for/write something in fifteen minutes. I get messed up when I try to actually convey ideas. If anybody has any idea of what was actually sort of going on in that up there, please tell me what you think I was going on about.

So.
The new chapter of Naruto.
I read the RAW first, because I had nothing better to distract from waiting for the translation. It was all going fine, obviously Itachi is getting in touch with his inner narrator, Sasuke is the good little audience, Madara and some other Uchiha are doing gross with each other's eyes when suddenly-
ITACHI YOUR FACE.
OMG. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU. WHY DO YOU HAVE THAT EXPRESSION, OH GOD.
Translation says: I am explaining my psychic breakdown now. But just. Oh god. Face.
Itachi was cool because he was the only not flipping crazy. If he kept a diary, I had imagined it would run along these lines: Woke up. Had tea for breakfast this morning, decided to decimate my entire extended family. Took Sasuke to practice his fire jutsu.
I think a little part of my soul just died.

I have, in my room, a tree made of cloth and plastic. I acquired it from my first place of work, where it was originally slated to be trashed. Entangled in its branches is a flower, a lotus blossom, also plastic and cloth which I bought for one dollar exactly and turned in with an English assignment.
Recently, I moved it from one corner of my room to the other, where it now stands in just the place to catch the light from my offshoot lava lamp. It's at an angle from where I'm sitting, and when I glanced up, it was a fountain of green jade leaves. I could almost hear the sounds of those inspiring droplets hitting the water.
It was beautiful.

Your Score: Arcane Trickster48% Combativeness, 60% Sneakiness, 88% Intellect, 19% SpiritualityBrilliant and sneaky: You are an Arcane Trickster! Score! You have a prestige class. A prestige class can only be taken after you've fulfilled certain requirements. This may mean that you're an exceptionally talented person, but it probably doesn't. Arcane Tricksters combine arcane magic with rogue skills and sensibilities. They use their magic to confuse their opponents or to augment their more mundane, roguish skills. If you thought it was annoying keeping an eye that that rogue, the Arcane Trickster is probably picking your pocket from the other side of the room. Both smart and sneaky, you're probably the type of person that loves planning practical jokes... either that or knocking over banks.

Sometimes, I don't think I actually have anything more than a passing fondness for my family.
I don't share my experiences with my family. I feel no sadness when they leave me. The most recent time I can recall distress in regards to a lack in my parents proximity was when I stayed over night on the floor of my cousin Gena's room. I was, roughly, four at the time; I am now eighteen.
My sisters are much older than myself. I recall once, very clearly, having been verbally hurt by my eldest sister. I wrote a note describing the incident and requesting an apology, then snuck down in the middle of the night to pin it to her door. I must have been less than twelve at the time, if she still lived in the house. I have no recollection of her ever addressing the matter.
My other sister routinely excludes me from her life. It has only been her continued residence at my parents home which prompted her to share and time with me, as all her school peers have moved from the state. Since she has moved out, my eldest sister, seeking to redress any 'unchristian deeds' she may have committed in her neglect of my existance has taken to inviting me to events with the two of them.
I frequently find myself at least vaguely repulsed by their words, actions, habits, choice of scheduling, and manners.
What does this say about me?

Co-worker Julie continues to be made of awesome. Job continues to be made of awesome. We switched out the tangerine sorbet back to lemon, and it is to die for. Someone should get it with graham crackers and whipped cream, maybe blue berries. Mmmm.
Manager is regretably not as awesome as first appeared. Can't have everything.

Fuck.
My sister is trying to convert me. I thought maybe she hadn't noticed that she was shoving christian propaganda in my face, that maybe she was just actually trying to reach out to me as my sister using a medium she was familiar with, but this...
Just. There is no way that this can be explained away. Not even with the holiday theme running through in. No explanation.
Why can people not leave me in peace?
